Top startup events in South Africa, Africa you should know about this week [1/10/2018]

Startup Grind Cape Town will kick start October by hosting Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (Awief) CEO Irene Ochem this Wednesday (3 October).

If you’re a poker fan, specifically Texas Hod’em, then you’ll want to attend a First Thursday Poker event for startups and entrepreneurs taking place in Cape Town on 4 October. There’s a R100 buy-in and a R100 entrance fee.

In Joburg? YDIDI youth network founder Neo Rantele Kuaho will discuss how he reached his first million in turnover at THUD event taking place on Wednesday (3 October).
