Top startup events in South Africa, Africa you should know about this week [24/3/2019]

For those in Cape Town, there are two exciting events taking place in the city aimed at startup founders.

The first, hosted by FSAT Labs, takes place on Tuesday (26 March) and will look at how startups can keep agile. The second, a Solution Space Learning Lunch on the same day, will cover insights startups should know around growing strong teams.

In Johannesburg, startup campus 22 On Sloane will on Wednesday (27 March) host the regional launch of the Africa Netpreneur Prize. Those in Lagos will also have the opportunity to attend a parallel event there, on the same day.

For those in Nairobi, you’ll want to check out the Investor Due Diligence event taking place on Tuesday (26 March) at Metta in Nairobi.

FSAT & Curious: How to keep innovation going in an organisation that’s growing

Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative launch

Join the regional launch of the prize competition for African entrepreneurs, founded by the Jack Ma Foundation. For the next 10 years, the Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative will host a pitch competition across Africa culminating in a finale where 10 finalists will compete for $1-million in total prize money.

The prize aims to support and inspire the next generation of African entrepreneurs across all sectors, who are building a more sustainable and inclusive economy for the future.
