Want your music to be heard? Then join treadFEST’s Battle of the Bands
treadFEST and GWP (Graeme Watkins Project) are partnering up to search for South Africa’s new musical sensation. We want to hear your music, and we want other people to hear it too.
treadFEST wants to give you a place to showcase your musical talents and to help you take a step towards making your dreams of becoming a performer into a reality. All styles of music are welcome, whether you are a band or a solo act, a duo or a DJ, we want you!
Do you think you have what it takes to perform on stage in front of a huge crowd of people? Do you have the skill and talent to battle it out against some of the best up-and- coming artists? Do you have the passion to make your music heard?

Once the top artists have been chosen, they will get the chance to battle it out on stage at treadFEST, where the audience will decide on the winner.
The winner of Battle of the Bands will have the opportunity to open for one of treadFEST’s many headlining acts. In addition, they will be given time in a studio to record an original song, with the help of GWP.
