The startup has recently made its first line of categories available in an effort to eventually become the leading go to online resource for people wanting to become money-savvy.

The company notes that it uses a complex comparison engine that generates a simplified, customized market overview of selected product categories based on the unique profiles of its users.

Centered around its ease of use and user-friendliness, the site gives users access to a personalized search experiences with their details tailored to the various options available.

MoneyMax does not charge anything for its service, and does not add any fees or commissions on top of any quotes delivered to its users.

Currently covering credit card, loan, deposit, mobile, broadband and various insurance plans, the site plans to launch more categories as it grows. It also offers assistance through a range of content such as FAQs, in-depth guides, and expert news.

The company hopes to become the editorial resource where Filipinos can educate themselves more on how they can manage their budgets.

Financial comparison sites have had quite the uptake in Southeast Asia recently. Other sites include the Malaysian iMoney Group and CompareHero both of which have expanded to other markets last year.

MoneyMax though aims to stand out by encompassing a wider range of product categories on its platform. Each category is said to span leading Philippine service providers and is meant to involve deep levels of detail to ensure users get all the details they need to make a financially savvy decision.
