Top startup events in South Africa, Africa you should know about this week [25/01/2016]
Looking to get into the South African startup scene or scratch up on some of your skills? Well, you’ve come to the right place. There are loads of competitions, networking sessions and workshops happening around South Africa and the rest of the continent (namely Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana) that we’ve rounded up to make your life a bit easier.

Now while many of us are slowly starting into the new year, it’s not a surprise that there aren’t that many events yet. Though we still thought it worthwhile to get the ball rolling on this series.
Cape Town
For all the female entrepreneurs out there, here’s a chance to get in touch with other like-minded people. The Ladies Entrepreneur Club Cape Town is kicking-off the year with a casual get together this week. As noted it’s purely an introductory group session, which means there will be no speakers or any formalities.
