Millionaire Underdog Club to hold open startup pitching event in Cape Town

Are you an entrepreneur in CT with a startup idea in need of funding? The Millionaire Underdog Club is holding an event that may be right for you.

Taking place on 14 July at the Table Bay Hotel, the event will allow entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas in front of a panel of top SA business icons and the audience.

Those wanting to participate will need to conduct a two-minute elevator pitch, followed by two minutes of open Q&A.

The judging panel will consist of Raj Wanniappa, CEO and founder of Future Horizon Technologies; MD of Internet Solutions Saki Missaikos; commercial director of Bidvest Lionel Jacobs and Carel Du Plessis, sportsman and sport tech entrepreneur.

Doctor Alan Barnard will be the evening’s special guest opening speaker, who is the CEO of Goldratt Research Labs, Chairman of African Phosphate and The Odyssey Institute.

The event will be chaired by the owner of the Cape Town Millionaire Underdog Club, Adrienne Westman, and Wanniappa.

According to Westman, there are already over 200 people registered for the event.
