SA’s Payment24 headed to Germany for Startupbootcamp
IT research and development startup, Payment24, is headed to one of the most recognisable network of startup accelerators, Startupbootcamp. Starting on 29 August, it will consist of 14 different programmes running across the world.
Payment24, along with all of the other startups in the programme, will be provided with mentorship, office space in Berlin, access to Startupbootcamp’s global network, €400 000 in services, and €15 000 in cash.
After three months, the teams will be presenting themselves to over 300 investors and mentors.
Payment24, which focuses on fleet management, payment systems, as well as mobile and retail solutions, was selected from 17 finalists after the two-day selection process
According to Startupbootcamp’s statistics, out of 325 startups, 79% of their participants are still active, 3% have been acquired, while 18% have folded. The average amount raised per startup has broken over €600 000 and provided over 1300 jobs.
“Investment plays a huge part in our value and we work tirelessly to make sure that our startups have the support of our global investor ecosystem. We also know how important partnerships can be and we introduce our startups to some of the best brands in the world when they need it,” writes Startupbootcamp on their website.

- Uk’s Eurosender
- Faraday Motion of Denmark
- Germany’s Heuro Labs
- Indoora from Turkey
- Scoot and Zify from India and
- Travis of Switzerland
