HearX and ColonyLive grab wins at Accenture Innovation Index Awards

Healthtech startup HearX and messaging platform Colony Live last night won awards at the 2017 Accenture Innovation Index Awards.
The winners were announced at a ceremony held in Johannesburg yesterday. HearX was selected as the winner in the Small Enterprises Concept category while Colony Live won in the Emerging Enterprises Concept category.
Three other tech startups had been shortlisted across the two categories. These are ThisIsMe, SolarTurtle and CrashDetech.

“All participants were assessed based on their level of advancements in innovation –from the ability to modernise their products and solutions, to how they take them to market,” Accenture Africa director for integrated marketing and communications Ntombi Mhangwani said in a press release.

“We paid special attention to their concepts, product developments, process and system designs, as well as how they delivered and commercialised their offerings. We also looked at their commitment to projects across the organisation, including senior management, and ability to make use of ever evolving technology in all its forms as a way of improving value to customers and operational procedures,” said Mhangwani.
Other winners at the awards include Key360, a cloud-based business management platform which won in the Medium Enteprises Concept category.
FNB dominated the awards winning the Overall Innovation Master and was joint winner of the Large Enterprise Concept category with InterGreatMe. Bramhope Group was selected winner in the Overall Innovation Master category.
