Top startup events in South Africa, Africa you should know about this week [25/06/2018]
As June draws to an end, here are a few startup events happening across the continent this week that we think you should think about attending.
If you’re in Johannesburg, Red Bull Basement will be holding its first hatch event in South Africa on Saturday (30 June). Over the course of a day, participants will be exposed to lectures, workshops from industry experts and networking opportunities.
Also in Johannesburg is the fifth annual Green Youth Indaba which will take place between Thursday and Friday (28 and 29 June). Watch out for the Green Innovators Pitch which is likely to be the highlight of the event.

Nairobi social entrepreneurs might want to attend the Google Impact Challenge info-session on Thursday (28 June) to find out how they can win a share of $2-million in grants.
