Top startup events in South Africa, Africa you should know about this week [28/7/2019]
The CEM Africa Summit kicks off on Wednesday (31 July) in Cape Town. Also check out the Heavy Chef event on Thursday (1 August) which will feature the launch of Workshop17’s new workspace in Kloof Street.
In Joburg, Baker McKenzie will on Wednesday (31 July) host an Invest Africa event that will focus on Africa’s tech and telecoms sector and how investors in Africa can get involved.
Also in Joburg, the United Africa Blockchain Association’s inaugural event will focus on women in blockchain and artificial intelligence on Friday (2 August) in Sandton.
Elsewhere on the continent, join Built to Last in Africa if you’re in Lagos on Wednesday. The event will focus on collaboration and partnerships.
