Wendy Luhabe, Fraser-Moleketi among speakers confirmed for this year’s AWIEF conference
The Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (Awief) has announced the lineup of speakers for its fifth Awief Conference which takes place on 29 and 30 October at the Cape Town International Conference Centre (CTICC).
Among those confirmed are entrepreneur and Women’s Private Equity Fund founder Wendy Luhabe (pictured above) and Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi, a former minister for public service and administration and the current chancellor of Nelson Mandela University.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Enhancing Impact: Digitalisation, Investment and Intra-African Trade”.
The annual conference serves as a platform where women entrepreneurs and innovators from across the continent and diaspora can meet with policy makers, investors, academics and thought leaders.
The Awief Conference will be held on 29 and 30 October in Cape Town

The awards are designed to showcase and celebrate the achievements of women entrepreneurs and business leaders who contribute to the transformation and development of Africa’s economy by creating jobs and opportunities across the continent.
Registrations for the conference close on 22 October.
