Top startup events in South Africa, Africa you should know about this week [15/9/2019]
The Southern African Venture Capital And Private Equity Association (Savca) will hold the launch of its 2019 Venture Capital Industry Survey this Thursday (19 September) in Cape Town.
In Johannesburg speaker and author Mushambi Mutuma will launch his new book Tech Adjacent at Startup Grind Johannesburg on Tuesday (17 September).
Also look out for Heavy Chef’s The Inspire Session’s event on Thursday (19 September). This week’s event will feature Facebook’s Elizabeth Lee Ming, Daily Maverick’s Richard Poplak and CliffCentral’s Gareth Cliff.
Elsewhere on the continent, Cameroon will host the Single Window Conference between Tuesday and Thursday (17 to 19 September). The event seeks to tackle topics that include intra-African trade and e-commerce.
This, while the E-Commerce Summit will take place in Cairo on Tuesday (17 September).
