Top startup events in South Africa, Africa you should know about this week [13/10/2019]
poliTEDx comes to Cape Town with an event this Saturday (19 October) in Langa that will focus on the role empathy, compassion and other emotions play in driving sustainable solutions that impact human lives.
Johannesburg hosts the Singularity U South Africa Summit in Midrand on Wednesday and Thursday (16 and 17 October). There’s also the Tropics Business Summit which starts on Wednesday (16 October) in Sandton.
Elsewhere around the continent look out for the Seedstars Kampala and Seedstars Port Louis events on Thursday and Thursday in Uganda and Mauritius, respectively.
