Global online speed networking event for entrepreneurs 

Taking place on 22 January and hosted by Explore ProTech Entrepreneurial Haven, the fifth Global Online Speed Networking Event provides entrepreneurs with a unique opportunity to create valuable connections to grow and develop their business. 

Held online, the event provides attending entrepreneurs from across the globe the opportunity to connect, build new business relationships, and become inspired to grow their existing business model. 

Peter Hingston, chief relationship officer for Explore Tech explains the objective of the event. 

“It’s about giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to experience the power of the ‘coffee first, then business’ approach to business.” 

How to attend 

Tickets for the event can be purchased through Eventbrite. 

Confirmed attendees will be requested to send a short introduction and profile picture to the following email address, nestene@exploreprotech.com. Nestene Botha, the chief executive dreamer at Explore ProTech Entrepreneurial Haven will provide attendees with access to Explore ProTech’s Global Online Speed Networking Facebook Group. 

The Facebook group will provide attendees with the following: 

• Connect with fellow attendees before the event 
• Increase their social media presence 
• Increase their marketing opportunities and increase brand awareness and more. 

 Botha explains that the events hosted by Explore ProTech provide an innovative networking platform that has proven to be effective. 

 “Our networking events work, because they focus on giving our attendees the tools, safe space, and opportunity to really be themselves, whilst explaining what they have to offer in the business. People buy from people they trust. People support people they trust. People refer people they trust. And relationship, is a pre-requisite for trust. That is why our networking events work.”

The event 

Attendees are placed in a total of four breakout sessions, with each session held over 15 minutes. The breakout sessions are tailored to the specific attendees to ensure that it provides the most useful tool and space for connections to flourish. Each session is facilitated by a host with 6 -10 attendees per room. 

Various group activities will be held throughout the event and are geared towards developing relationships within a group setting. Attendees can take part in these activities during the short breaks between different breakout sessions. 

Proven success 

According to Explore ProTech, its Global Online Speed Networking Event has resulted in over 50% of previous attendees building long-term business relationships, with at least 10% of these relationships resulting in real and meaningful projects.
