Tech fellowship programme launches for MENA region
Edtech startup Knowledge Officer has launched a Tech Fellowship programme that is aimed at comprehensively upskilling participants and fostering innovation in the industry of tech within the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA).
Applications are open and the programme starts on 14 February 2021
Ahmed El-Sharkasy, the CEO and Co-Founder of the Knowledge Officer explains that the fellowship aims to equip participants with a wealth of knowledge.

There has never been a time where impactful and market-driven training is needed more than now. We promise our learners that we will do our best to help them navigate the current uncertainty due to the instability in the job market and to give them a solid opportunity not just to upskill but to have amazing job opportunities as well.”
The Tech Fellowship
Taking place over three months, the fellowship programme will start on 14 February 2021, and applicants from the below regions are encouraged to apply:
- Egypt
- Lebanon
- Saudi Arabia
- Jordan
Applications can be completed online.
As a fully-funded programme, selected participants will be able to become certified in Product Management, Marketing, Sales Development, and Customer Success, topics that are all integral and in-demand job opportunities in the tech sector.
During the programme, selected participants will engage in workshops, collaborative learning, practical projects and undergo a mock interview, generating a 360 approach to the programme and fully equipping participants.
At the end of the programme participants are provided with support from Knowledge Officer in the form of employment support as the fellowship will assist in recruitment, profiling, and placement.
The following requirements are applicable to viable candidates for the fellowship programme:
- Must be a resident of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Lebanon
- No pre-experience in the selected field is required
- English speaking
- Presentable with good communication skills
- Motivated.
Two thousand applicants will be selected to take part in the online taught programme.
