Applications for ReadyForWork Accelerator open
ReadyforWork is an immersive digital career accelerator that uses AI and Machine Learning to equip entry-level job seekers with employment skills and help talent managers make data-driven recruitment decisions.
According to reports, the accelerator has been operating for two years with the first programme kicking off in 2018. The accelerator yielded positive results with graduates successfully securing full employment post the programme.
An investment of $250 000 was secured from King Solomon’s Group, a Ghana-based investor and will be used towards the programme. The programme aims to kick off later this month and is aimed at applicants interested in careers within the various fields; Finance, Digital Marketing, and UI/UX fields.
Upon completion, the selected students will have direct access to employment. SFAN claims that students graduate from the accelerator with jobs in high-growth companies and have access to ongoing career coaching and networking opportunity with peers on the platform.
Carole Ramella, The MD of GFA Consulting Ltd commented on the initiative: “The ReadforWork project by SFAN is a fantastic initiative. The team has done an excellent job of creating a framework that helps job seekers gain the right skills to get hired while enabling companies to make informed recruitment decisions. As an employer, I find great value in such a framework because it enormously cuts down my recruitment timeline while being unbelievably result-oriented and affordable.”
