The key to the South African start-up’s success is its code-free tool that enables marketers to create SMS campaigns that uniquely target their customers for greater engagement. This investment will help Mobiz increase its marketing, sales, and account management capacity for a successful push into the North American market.
That rollout is already happening with more than 200 beta users in the US already active on the platform. Fending off established players like Textedly and TextMagic will prove challenging, but early indications show that sensible pricing will see it prevail.
Mobiz cemented itself in its home market with a Telkom partnership early this year.
