+OneX, a forward-thinking solutions and systems integrator within the Reunert Group, has exceeded its initial targets by taking on board over 300 clients and expanding its full-time workforce to around 320.

The firm now has its sights set on considerably increasing its managed services expertise, positioning itself as a comprehensive digital transformation partner able to support organisations across the digital consulting, cloud, unified communications, data, software, end-user computing, and security sectors.

At the company’s inaugural +OneXplore event, CEO Rob Godlonton commented that +OneX had demonstrated strong growth since its establishment during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Using Reunert’s Nashua Communications unified communications business as a starting point, +OneX has since grown into a formidable competitor in the systems integration, enterprise solutions, and managed services arena through a blend of organic and acquisitive growth.

Its clientele encompasses major South African banks, retailers, public sector bodies, educational institutions, and industrial companies.

Godlonton said: “Reunert provided us with a unique chance to build a next-generation ICT managed services business from the ground up to meet the demand in the South African market for a comprehensive digital transformation partner.

“This enabled us to devise a business model centred on cloud-native technologies, a vendor-agnostic approach to solving customers’ business problems, and a more streamlined, flexible, and personalised client experience. Our strength lies in our startup-like speed and agility, combined with the scale and governance of a large corporation.”

In the past three years, +OneX has significantly bolstered its team with high-quality talent, including the leaders and founders of the companies it has acquired.

Godlonton noted, “Today, we are a level one accredited broad-based black economic empowerment company that can offer enterprise clients a full suite of IT solutions and services. Following acquisitions in cloud hosting, digital media, security, and software app development over the past two years, we plan to bring more talent on board in the coming months, thereby further strengthening our capabilities and scaling our business in areas such as user experience, digital consulting, and managed services.”

The growth of +OneX was amplified with the integration of Code Maven, Triple H Cloud Services, DataCore Media, MMC, and EUCafrica. These companies have been fully incorporated into +OneX’s brand, platform, and systems, with +OneX retaining key directors and owners, believing that founders join +OneX to grow and achieve their ambitions.

Godlonton concluded: “+OneX aims to create opportunities to enhance people’s lives, from helping to address the country’s ICT skills gap and create jobs, to assisting our clients in becoming more profitable and competitive, right through to our community engagement. Our ultimate ambition is to be the first choice for solutions and systems integration in South Africa for both clients and talent, and to help clients navigate the many challenges and opportunities of the digital age.”
