F8, Facebook’s developer conference, is going global in 2016 with meetups in cities around the globe — including Cape Town.
At this annual event, Facebook will announce its latest products and will allow developers the opportunity to hear directly from Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook’s leadership on the vision for Facebook, the developer community and beyond. This year, the Bandwidth Barn is partnering with Facebook to co-host an F8 Meet-up Cape Town.
During the event, Bandwidth Barn will stream the opening keynote of F8 followed by networking over drinks and snacks.

The Business Model Canvas is a strategic management and entrepreneurial tool. It is extremely useful in describing, designing and summarizing a start-up idea. Any company’s business model can be described in nine basic building blocks: namely, customer segments, value proposition, distribution channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key activities, resources and partners and finally, the cost structure. During this workshop participants will get to understand the different components of the Canvas and will learn how to frame and answer key questions about a business model and its execution.
