Sw7 Microsoft Partner Acceleration Programme to kick off next week in Jozi
Tech giant Microsoft has partnered with Joburg-based tech accelerator Sw7 for the Sw7 Microsoft Partner Acceleration Programme which kicks off in Johannesburg next Tuesday (12 March).
The Sw7 Microsoft Partner Acceleration Programme is aimed at tech startups that have achieved a product market fit, have paying customers, and are looking to grow and scale.
Sw7 co-founder Odette Jones said in a statement last week that the programme will also work with pre-launch business that are close to launching, although the content, pace and approach of the programme has been designed to offer “the most value” to companies that are past this stage.

The Sw7 Microsoft Partner Acceleration Programme will begin with a series of workshops that will run over six months. The first of these workshops takes place next Tuesday (12 March) at Microsoft’s offices in Bryanston. Those interested can register for the event here.
Sw7 said the programme will initially be based in Johannesburg, but that based on demand, the organisers might extend it to other regions as a virtually-run programme.
Topics to be covered at the workshops include: vision and strategy, investor readiness, product market fit, business models and valuations, as well as go to market and strategy execution.
All the content, Sw7 explained, will be collapsed into an approach and set of goals that is unique to each business. In addition, participants will not be charged any fees and will be provided with additional support as needed.
