Apply for the SFAN Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Budding student entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply for the SFAN Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Applications close on 25 September 2020.
The award has been created by Stars From All Nations (SFAN), the education company that unlocks the potential of the youth, in partnership with Southern Africa venture builder Founders Factory Africa and Spain-based digital incubator BridgeForBillions to support student entrepreneurs.
Tom-Chris Emewulu, Creator of Student Entrepreneurship Week and Founder of SFAN comments that the award helps to inspire other student entrepreneurs.
“When I was a student entrepreneur, there were times when it felt like I was dancing in the dark, and I desperately needed a sense of assurance that my work was making a difference. I know how much difference a little encouragement can make, so I decided to create that assurance for others through this award.”
The prestigious award
The award forms part of SFAN’s youth entrepreneurship initiative, Student Entrepreneurship Week, which is scheduled to take place on September 28 – 29.
The award aims to highlight student entrepreneurs that are creating innovative solutions to current challenges faced in society. The award also aims to inspire young entrepreneurs to empower themselves with business creation, having a tenfold positive effect on the community with job creation while positively contributing to the local and global economy.
