Zoho Invoice available to SMEs for free to help companies rebuild
Internet tech company Zoho has made its Invoice solution available for free to support Small to Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to help them rebuild in the face of the pandemic.
The change comes as Zoho Invoice has experienced rapid revenue growth during the last four years.
“Our roots are centred around helping the SME community which has supported Zoho from the beginning, and we understand the challenges that SME’s have had to undergo that were onset from the global pandemic,” Africa Regional Manager, Andrew Bourne, said in a statement.
According to consulting firm McKinsey, SMEs in South Africa account for more than 98% of businesses.
“We hope offering Zoho Invoice for free continues to help businesses rebuild and grow amongst challenging times that they face today and for the future.”

In addition, they employ between 50% and 60% of the country’s workforce across all sectors. They also account for a quarter of all job growth in the private sector.
However, businesses have experienced a drop in revenue and profitability due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
What services does Zoho Invoice offer?
Zoho Invoice offers simplified billing solutions and lets users create and manage their invoices. It also lets them set up payment collections and reminders, as well as features to help track their finances.
The program is one of several digital business solutions Zoho offers. It also integrates with third-party applications so businesses can sync their systems.
“We launched Zoho Invoice in 2008, with the goal of providing a fully customizable invoicing solution for businesses of all sizes,” Bourne explained.
“Through the migration from paper-based invoicing to digital invoicing we’ve seen the need for simplified billing to fit the customized needs of the SME community,”
Zoho Invoice is available on the web. It also has a mobile app available.
