Eden Life

Founded in 2019 and launched by a trio of entrepreneurs, Eden Life is a tech startup that has created one of the continent’s first home services app that can schedule food, laundry and cleaning services.

The platform has been developed to help cater to provide an effective service for busy professionals who are often strapped for time to complete various tasks and source a dependable, efficient and effective home service provider. According to reports, the tech startup has provided over 60 000 services in the bustling city of Lagos.

Nadayar Enegesi, Co-Founder at Eden Life and Co-founder at Andela provides insight into what inspired the creation of the app.

“For many of our users, if they’re cooking or running errands, they’re not being productive; they don’t want distractions from their work, which is where Eden Life comes in. We understand this scenario all too well. We are those people – so we basically designed a product with us in mind and realised that collectively, we are a pretty large market in Nigeria and have subsequently scaled Eden with other professionals from all walks of life who need simple tasks done with no fuss.”

Available on both Google Play and the App Store, the innovative app is available on a subscription basis and connects users to much-needed services such as; chef-cooked meals, laundry services, home cleaning and more.

In addition, the platform provides users with transparent insight into the competition of their ordered services or products. The app has been built to cater to users flexible lifestyles as users can subscribe to multiple services and set the frequency in which they wish for services to be delivered.

Users are able to provide feedback on subscribed services and the software of the app has been created to offer suggestions of services based on users previously chosen products. The app includes delivery time tracking, payments, billing and user notifications.

To ensure that tasks are completed effectively, Eden Life deploys ‘Gardeners’, trained professionals.
