KupiKupon and Celltick partner to bring mobile coupons to Eastern Europe
Mobile-initiated commerce site Celltick has announced a partnership with KupiKupon— a service that provides daily deals to people in Eastern Europe. This partnership is said to publish intelligently targeted mobile coupons to millions of consumers across Russia and Ukraine.
Celltick’s patented technology coupled with its expertise and deep understanding of local consumer behavior and cultures will allow KupiKupon to effectively target consumers with valuable deals and offers for physical goods and services, based on the location and demographics of each mobile handset user.
Through Celltick’s expertise and understanding of consumer behaviour and cultures will enable KupiKupon to have better market reach with valuable deals of physical goods and services. On top of this, deals and offers will be based accordingly depending on the mobile user’s location and demographics. Together as distribution and publisher, Celltick and KupiKupon will have mobile coupons reaching 52 Russian cities as well as Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Latvia and Estonia.
Through various marketing methods, audiences can be reached in real-time with mobile coupons that can be redeemed in store or online. Consumers will also have the opportunity to purchase deals directly from their mobile phones. Out of 140 million people in Russia, there are only 11 million credit cards in circulation. This is one of the main reasons KupiKupon enables people to use “Click-to-Coupon” that allows you to be billed through the mobile operator.
“We partnered with Celltick because it provided the trusted expertise and technology for us to effectively reach consumers on their mobile phones and enable higher sales and redemption rates for our merchant partners,” said Komil Ruzaev, CEO of KupiKupon.
He further notes that they “believe mobile coupons published through Celltick’s distribution and publisher partnerships will open the doors to m-commerce for our consumers and merchants.” Over 45 percent of KupiKupon shoppers made an internet purchase for the first time in 2012 this could mainly be contributed to the fact that Russia has become one of the biggest internet markets in the last two years.
