Keeping in line with the startup’s previous team effort — read more about the iROKING music service partnership — it is introducing the service with the help of cloud-based recruitment software company, graylink. Commuters will have access to 500 (or so) job listings from employers like Discovery, Shoprite, Mercedes Benz, Telkom and Woolworths.
Graylink CEO Mark Gray says that the partnership will target LSM 4 – 7 commuters
This service allows commuters to either apply from their mobile phones or forward the job-advert to their e-mail addresses. Advertisers can post jobs onto the GoMetro Jobs website.
GoMetro has seen good traction, launching in September 2012. It now offers a national service to all Metrorail commuters, with support for KwaZulu-Natal launched most recently. It aims to expand its service to include the metropolitan bus services, Gautrain and several IRT busses before the end of 2013.
GoMetro is now recording 500 000 national monthly users.
