Adfu is part of a network of sites owned by Kagiso Media. Kagiso Digital has launched the AdFu network in 2012 to offer a range of opportunities within vertical markets to advertisers and niche publishers. The company has since included a host of online publishers such as Nation Media, Sky News, Sky Sports, and the Teamtalk family of sites. The announcement of this partnership with Yookos is said to further strengthen Adfu’s market reach on the African continent.

Yookos has a strong user base in the fast-growing Kenyan and Nigerian markets. The social network essentially sets itself apart stating that it provides the “best convenient and accessible way to connect with people deeply on human and spiritual level.”

Attila Bernariusz, divisional head of Kagiso Digital says that “this partnership means that AdFu’s reach now extends to 2.4m unique browsers – 1.34m of them located in Africa – and 120m ad impressions per month, excluding mobile.”

The partnership is said to increase Adfu’s market reach while driving Yookos’ revenue growth by maximizing inventory field. This three-year agreement between Yookos and Kagiso Media, aims for Yookos to enjoy exclusive sales representation throughout Africa through AdFu’s in-house sales team.

The deal also states that the social network will be able to access AdFu’s world-class ad-ops team and operational, analytics and ad-serving platforms. On top of this, the two companies are said to co-operate on sharing content as well.

Bernariusz further states that “through Yookos and our other African partnerships, [this partnership] can offer clients consolidated network buys with access to sizable African audiences”
