Oficialize is an online consultancy startup for Brazilian startups

World Bank’s Doing Business Index for 2013 ranked Brazil 121st among 183 countries in the ease of starting a business. Providing business consulting services, Oficialize is a startup attempting to lend an administrative hand to upcoming startups in Brazil. The company recently presented itself at the much acclaimed 21212 Digital Accelerator‘s demo day.

According to a 21212 blog post, Brazil is one of the most difficult countries in which to do business. According to recent statistics, starting a new business in Brazil involves steps between 13 government agencies, costs of about US$800 and takes over 120 days. Oficialize wants to change the bureaucratic dynamics that exist in the country.

It’s a startup for startups. The company’s aim is taking incorporation logistics into their own hands, offering a fast, yet economical solution with the end-user in mind. First, the client will sign-up to Oficialize’s site and follow the steps, answering questions related to the company’s plan and its partners. Upon submission of this form, Oficialize management analyses entries for errors.

Oficialize co-founder Luiz Rodriguiz says that “at this stage, [they] are serving only Brazilian citizens, but soon [the] service will be available for entrepreneurs from all over the world who want to start a small business in Brazil.”

Falling under Startup Brasil‘s umbrella, startup accelerator 21212 provides mentorship and seed funding to entrepreneurs who has a proven business model. The accelerator is also looking for international entrepreneurs who are adapting successfully to be developed in Brazil.

21212 is most known for successful startups such as Queremos which has been dubbed by TechCrunch as a Kickstarter for concerts and other live events. The organization promotes a platform that aims to turn fans into investors. Other notable 21212 alumni are e-learning startup Easyaula and e-payment PagPop.
