Taking place in Cape Town, the program aims to help startups juggling the advantages and pitfalls of Big Data, predictive and analytics spheres, using SAP’s HANA platform.

SAP HANA “converges database and application platform capabilities in-memory to transform transactions, analytics, text analysis, predictive and spatial processing so businesses can operate in real-time,” notes the company’s official HANA portal. The suite has been instrumental for businesses and for other breakthroughs, including cancer research among others.

The two day event will be held at the Crystal Towers Hotel and Spa on day one, which promises opportunities for budding entrepreneurs to network, banker and converse, while day two will feature the HANA Technical Bootcamp taking place at SAP’s Cape Town offices.

The bootcamp will allow startups to get hands on experience and coaching using the platform, including setting up a SAP HANA environment.

For those looking to attend, there is no cover charge but startups looking to attend day two of the Startup Focus Program should apply here.
