This week the fifth annual Entrepreneur Expo is kicking-off in Cape Town, South Africa, with the aim of bringing together entrepreneurs, thinkers and tinkerers from all over the Mother City and the rest of the country.

The Expo is meant to be a platform for those that support Cape Town’s entrepreneurs through products and services to showcase their offerings and engage directly with existing and future entrepreneurs.

Some prolific figures hailing from financial institutions, mentorship programmes as well as government agencies will attend the event. This is a rare opportunity to link up with some of the industry’s most insightful leaders. For instance, the UK-based Caban investments will share their experience on raising capital as well as its requirements.

From business growth and staying digitally connected to intellectual property law, a number of social incubators and accelerators such as Knife Capital will shed light on some very important subjects any entrepreneur should be aware of.

The event will also be fitted with exciting workshops from the likes of PayFast, Flow Convas and the South African Revenue Service.

Apart from exhibiting ideas and solutions, the conference will cover some of the following topics: How to upscale your business by Andrea Böhmert from Knife Capital; Healthy Mind, Healthy Body, Healthy Business by Elan Lohmann, the founder of SleekGeek; and serial entrepreneur Eric Edelstein on his entrepreneurial journey and insights into raising funds.
