The eCommerce Africa Confex, set to take place early next year, has announced its speaker list, with BidorBuy CEO Jaco Jonker and Yuppiechef director Paul Galatis set to take up keynote slots.

Jonker will be sharing the steps to your first online sale during his presentation. He will provide a layout of the basic steps required in order to make your first sale and the importance of getting to market quickly.
Galatis meanwhile will discuss unconventional approaches to winning loyalty, inspiring passion and earning love from your customers. Paul will share his thoughts and anecdotes from a journey of building one of South Africa’s best loved online brands, Yuppiechef.
Other speakers who will give keynotes over the two-day event include Andre de Wet, PriceCheck CEO; Paul Casarin, Operations and Strategy for gumtree.co.za and eBay; as well as CMO for Zando, Maximilian Rast. De Wet will expand on the best strategies to deliver an online checkout experience that will turn browsers into buyers and Casarin will present a keynote titled The role of mobile in growing C2C marketplaces. Those delegates that are new to selling online will greatly benefit from hearing Maximilian discuss the hard thing about starting an online business, where he will address what it takes to get an online business to a point where it is actually self-sustaining.
