The National Small Business Chamber (NSBC) is gearing up to host its 7th My Business Expo in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In an effort to help give small-to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that edge to punch above their weight, the expo will incorporate the Business Start-up Expo as well as the Access to Finance Indaba. The latter will see industry experts deliver growth solutions, ideas and strategies small business need to succeed.
“There are a host of learning opportunities to be had at the My Business Expo,” says Mike Anderson, the founder and CEO of the NSBC. “In particular, the range of seminars offers SMEs invaluable advice on a range of critical business topics, this year with special focus on the two biggest challenges facing SMEs today: Accessing finance and building a customer base.”
Anderson further explains that SMEs can learn all of the important aspects needed to start a business. These include workshops on compliance, tax, BEE certificates and how to leverage social media to help your business grow.
Some of the speakers include Bradley Ralph who’s head of small business at Nedbank, CEO of FinFind Darlene Menzies and Standard Bank’s head of small enterprise Ethel Nyembe.
