CiTi InnoTech incubator calls for SA change-makers
The Cape Innovation and Technology Initiative’s (CiTi) is calling for South African tech startups to apply for its new incubator programme InnoTech.
Running from August 2015 to March 2016, InnoTech looks to stimulate the creation of new businesses and support the expansion and growth of existing companies through the uptake of technology and innovation capability.
The programme is also looking to attract BEE candidates. However, CiTi reassures that all entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply.
The InnoTech programme was first introduced after CiTi entered a multimillion rand partnership with the country’s telecommunications giant, Telkom, in May this year.
The partnership forms part of the telecom’s R100-million FutureMakers initiative.

Heading the incubator is CiTi’s Michelle Matthews, who says that this is a great opportunity for developers to put their skills to good use:
“They will get really robust business support through our incubation programmes and will leave with skills to run a sustainable business.”
The final closing date is 31 July 2015, and applicants can apply online here.
