Startup Grind

Startup Grind Cape Town introduces SweepSouth’s Aisha Pandor and Carl Wazen from Yoco this month. Pandor chat about their journey as well as the 500 Startups experience, while Wazen share some of his insights about his exciting fintech startup.

TIA’s Foresight, Innovation and Leadership programme

The Foresight, Innovation and Leadership programme by the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA), is a six-day programme taught by distinguished personalities such as Professor Ruth Zaplin, Dr. Bill Cockayne and Daimler Benz.

According to TIA, this high-energy programme will leave participants more confident about how to forge new opportunities. More importantly, the programme will introduce ways in which leaders can put into practice these techniques when they return to work.

The eCommerce Africa Confex

This one should definitely be taken note of. The inaugural eCommerce Africa Confex is set to feature a topical blend of compelling conference sessions combined with an exhibition showcase. This one’s for the early-bird networker. Lean (startup) coffee is a weekly one-hour coffee meetup that runs a mash-up of with — culminating in an agenda-less meeting which sets out to democratically generate topics and ideas.
