Startups, here’s a hacker’s guide to snagging that investor [infographic]

In a world where ideas are a dime a dozen, it’s not easy snagging yourself some investment money. Some startups go to pitching events, make a huge public splash, or even take road trips to find funding for their business.

In an essay by Y Combinator founder Paul Graham, he breaks down the differences between angels, investors, and what makes them tick. For example, angels may take more risks than venture capitalists (VCs), but they don’t necessarily like the limelight. He also says that VCs want startups that can go public and grow, tend to invest in what other VCs do.
