Top startup events in South Africa, Africa you should know about this week [14/03/2016]

Looking to get into the South African startup scene or scratch up on some of your skills? Well, you’ve come to the right place. There are loads of competitions, networking sessions and workshops happening around South Africa and the rest of the continent (namely Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana) that we’ve rounded up to make your life a bit easier.

Cape Town

Venture Network Big Bus Tour Cape Town

Startup buses have cropped up all over the world. Many of them are designed to build and accelerate startups, but this one is more concerned with fostering relations between the Johannesburg and Cape Town startup communities.

Barclays Rise will be hosting a FinTech themed Venture Network event on 16 March from 16:30. This event will showcase some of the best technology solutions in financial services.
