This course is for individuals who are completely new to digital currencies and blockchain technology. This event takes the form of a Q&A with Duran De Villiers from SteadiDrone and covers the topic of getting your Product “Off the ground”. SteadiDrone develops, manufactures and export advanced small unmanned aerial systems, commonly known as drones. Their products are used around the globe by many different clients in an almost endless variety of applications and uses.
Alan Ball and Saadiq Jacobs, the creators of EchoQuad, will also speak about the successes they’ve had with their respective UAV and FPV racing products and businesses.

Business Breakfast: B-BBEE Codes
This event aims to address the continuous changes and growing uncertainty around the ambit of the B-BBEE codes including recent changes to industry sector codes (tourism, construction, etc.), it has become evident that companies need to prudently scrutinise how they are affected by these changes and how it essentially affects them in the long run despite numerous objections to the amended B-BBEE codes which have now been clarified as being effective from 1 May 2015.

TechTalkCPT: Surviving Antarctica in the name of Science
In May the #TechTalkCPT event looks in detail at what it is like to live in the most hostile continent known to man for a year.
For the past 54 years, South Africa has sent down a group of 10 individuals. This talk covers Antarctica, South Africa’s involvement on the continent, and focuses on the scientific instruments maintained during the year. Daleel Lilla will be speaking to us about his experience, his work and photography done whilst on Antartica.
Daleel Lilla is currently an Engineer with the EDA division of the South African National Space Agency. He’s recently returned from a year long expedition in Antarctica, where he was responsible for the SuperDARN Radar. When he isn’t focused on electronics, he’s honing in on his photography skills.

The Barn Woodstock will be hosting a full day of ideation and creative thinking in the lead-up to InnoTech 2016.
