FNB opens submissions for Business Innovation Awards
The FNB Business Innovation Awards, with support from EndeavorSA, is looking for the most creative and inspiring entrepreneurs with potential to scale and grow their businesses.
The awards are aimed at businesses that have potential to change the way their industries operate both locally and internationally. Entrants must have a strong capacity to be able to grow their business but also to add social value by way of job creation.
Other factors that will be considered by the judges include:
- Social responsibility
- Ability to sustain the environment
- Brand reputation
- The company’s quality of governance
- Stakeholder relations
- Goodwill factors
Entrants will undergo EndeavorSA’s tough selection process as they will be interviewed by a selection panel before being shortlisted for the finals. Finalists will then get an opportunity to present their company to the last panel.
“The FNB Business Innovation Awards, supported by Endeavor, are a real opportunity for high-impact entrepreneurs to unleash their potential”, said Endeavor board member, Paul Harris.
The winner will be awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the Endeavor International Selection Panel which takes place in New York in 2017. Here, they will pitch and meet with investors, global leaders and international peers. The winner will also walk away with the title of Endeavor Entrepreneur.
“Every entrepreneur that is serious about sustainable growth and acquiring the attributes needed to successfully scale a business should consider participating in the awards for an opportunity to attend the Endeavor ISP,” said CEO of WiGroup Bevan Ducasse, who won the FNB Business Innovation Awards this year, in a press release to Ventureburn.
“Being an ‘Endeavor Entrepreneur’ has prepared me for the steep journey ahead, as I look to take WiGroup to its next level of growth while contributing to economic growth and job creation in South Africa,” concluded Ducasse.
Nominations will open from 12 September 2016 to 31 January 2017. If you’d like to enter or nominate, you can do so here.
