BriteCap gets top honours at SAP Startup Focus Forum
Employer benefits platform, BriteCap, has won the pitching competition held during the SAP Startup Focus Forum. The event took place at the Barclays Rise space in Cape Town on 20 October 2016.
The forum was organised by SAP, one of the major players in enterprise application software as well as Rise, an initiative created by Barclays geared toward fintech startups.
“Rise Cape Town has partnered with SAP as we share a vision to bring startups and corporates together to solve some of the biggest challenges facing financial service,” said ecosystems manager of Rise Cape Town, Camilla Swart.
“By creating a community of the world’s brightest thinkers and doers, Rise is able to empower startups and connect them to potential investors, partners and customers – and in the case of the fintech StartUp programme, ultimately boost the African Economy and help the continent prosper,” she continued.

Britecap’s platform is geared toward low and medium skilled labourers to find appropriate employment as well as become more discoverable to employers looking for trusted workers. One of their key offerings includes the automatic addition of employees to their employer’s payroll through the BriteCap platform.
