The Las Vegas event — being held for the second time — offers unparalleled access to the largest, most comprehensive gathering of tech entrepreneurs, investors and insurance industry incumbents from around the world.
The Click2Sure team will be attending the Insure Tech Connect Summit from 2-4 October to demo the Click2Sure platform and launch its global aspirations, the startup said in a press release yesterday.
Click2Sure’s CEO, Daniel Guasco (pictured above) said he and his team are honoured to have been offered this opportunity.
With policy holders and distribution in place Click2Sure is now at a point to scale the business global
The startup, which Guasco founded in January 2016, works with other re-insurers, third party service providers, brand and product distributors and retailers both on and offline. It allows customers to receive immediate cover at the point of sale.
Guasco, who is also the ex co-founding Director of Groupon South Africa, said with policy holders and distribution in place the company is now at a point to scale the business globally.
“Our globally experienced team of industry experts have spent a number of years developing what we believe is a world-class platform, and in many respects one of the first fully digital full-stack insurance companies,” he said.
Guasco said in just four months the company has signed up over 3000 active policyholders in a limited POC, and will be launching with an additional three major retailers next month.
Click2Sure has the backing of a global re-insurer and cell captive or managing general agent (MGA) structure and developed over 28 lines of short-term insurance.
