The Africa Tech Summit Kigali — set to take place on 14 and 15 February — aims to explore the major trends in the continent’s tech sector, connect key players and entrepreneurs as well as drive investment into Africa’s tech ecosystem.

In a press release conference organiser Andrew Fassnidge said that the summit — which is supported by the Rwandan Ministry of ICT — will chart progress in fintech, connectivity, mobility, blockchain, health, agriculture, education, ecommerce, digital media and creativity.
“Expert investors will unpack the current investment landscape and opportunities from the ground up while connecting with leading ventures from across the region,” said Fassnidge.
The two-day summit will feature over 50 speakers.
Speakers among others include: Ecobank Rwanda MD Alice Kilonozo-Zulu, Facebook Africa strategic product partnerships manager Proud Dzambukira, BRCK CEO Erik Hersman, Andela CSO Wambui Kinya, ViKtoria Ventures co-founder Stephen Gugu, Liquid Telcom Group CTO Ben Roberts, and Orange Digital Ventures Africa VC investor Marième Diop.
Joining these leaders, will be creatives, story makers and marketers who will be part of The Creative Track, a series of events curated by content network aKoma.
The creative track is expected to explore engaging topics ranging from investing in the creative business, the rise of Africa’s digital superstar content creators and the evolution of brands into storytelling and entertainment companies.
