For some entrepreneurs, it’s more than just about generating revenue. There are some who get into it to make an impact and to change the world. Think you’re part of that crop?
Then you have just under a day to apply to London-based The Collective Global Accelerator (CGA) which this year is looking for innovators with solutions that are making an impact towards creating stronger communities within urban areas.

Applications to the global accelerator close tomorrow (10 January).
The Collective Global Accelerator will run between 4 June and 1 July
To be eligible for the programme, entrepreneurs have to be between 20 and 35 years old and must be running a startup which is under five years old.
The first round of selection is set to take place between 11 and 19 January. A second selection round will be held between 29 January and 2 February where applicants who are shortlisted in the first round will be asked to submit a video pitch.
The 2018 programme participants will then be announced on 16 February, while the accelerator programme will run between 4 June and 1 July.
The selected entrepreneurs will participate in a four-week all expenses paid programme during which they will be matched to mentors in their respective fields who will help them scale. As part of the programme, participants will get to attend exclusive entrepreneurship workshops.
In addition, at the end of the programme, the entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to pitch to impact investors and other representatives from London’s tech startup scene.
Last year, CGA’s first cohort of 10 entrepreneurs (pictured above) included entrepreneurs from Ethiopia, Ghana and South Africa.
