AppsAfrica.com has shortlisted 70 finalists for this year’s AppsAfrica Innovation Awards
In a statement yesterday (10 October) the advisory service said most of the entries received were from Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya.
A significant amount of submissions were also made from smaller markets including Malawi, Sao Tome and Principe, Mauritania and Liberia, illustrating what AppsAfrica described as “the growth of innovation” across the continent.
The awards, which are supported by Uber, JET8, Syntonic and Mobile Monday South Africa (MOMO), will provide winners with industry recognition, global publicity, and networking opportunities with over 300 industry peers who are expected to attend the awards finals.
Category winners will also be invited to attend Africa Tech Summit Kigali 2019, where they will join over 400 tech leaders from across the continent.
