Opinion platform WenaData has emerged as the winner of this year’s edition of Seedstars Maputo.

The platform, which launched last December, aims to make it easier to collect statistical data in Mozambique by rewarding survey and poll participants through a points and rewards system. Since its launch, the Maputo-based platform claims to have conducted over 270 polls and 16 surveys.

WenaData was placed first ahead of insurtech Umbrella and New Tech Lab’s Agrolink marketplace which placed second and third respectively.
