Are you a social innovator who believes you can bring about positive change through entrepreneurship? Then you have just under nine days left to apply to join the fourth edition of the Red Bull Amaphiko Academy that will take place in Durban in May next year.
South African social entrepreneurs have until next week Friday (30 November) to submit their applications.

Red Bull Amaphiko is a global initiative that supports social entrepreneurs who aim to drive positive change in their communities. The initiative runs an 18-month long academy which focuses on grass roots, early-stage social entrepreneurs.

The academy develops participant’s skills, helps them gain exposure and provides social entrepreneurs with access to networks, as well as opportunities for collaboration with some of the leading innovators and entrepreneurs in South Africa and the world.
To be selected for the programme, applicants must have ideas that are at an early stage, or ones that are already developed which showcase an innovative and measurable solution to a recognised social problem.
The academy urges applicants to refer to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals for the social challenges that they will consider.
