Aspiring Entrepreneurs — Digital Pitch Competition (10 December): Winners from seven Nigerian states who participated in the Aspiring Entrepreneurs Digital 2018 programme will pitch their businesses to a panel of judges for a chance to win support and prizes from Facebook and Fate Foundation.
NG_Hub Start-up Mixer (10 December): A social gathering bringing together startups from across the community, including NG_Hub startups and those taking part in the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield event.

For those that work in startups, lean (startup) coffee is a weekly one-hour coffee meetup that runs a mash-up of leancoffee.org with theleanstartup.com.

TechCrunch Startup Battlefield Africa 2018
This week US-based publication TechCrunch will host its second Startup Battlefield Africa competition.
The judges will choose a winner, “Sub-Saharan Africa’s Most Promising Startup,” whose founders will win $25 000 in zero-equity cash plus a trip for two to compete in Startup Battlefield at TechCrunch’s flagship event, Disrupt in 2019.

Microsoft Global Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Mixed Reality (MR) Bootcamp

Tanzania
The 10 best startups from Dar Es Salaam will be invited to pitch in front of an investment panel and compete to be crowned the most promising seed-stage startup of Seedstars Dar Es Salaam 2018.
The winning startup will join the global Seedstars Family and take part in the regional and global Seedstars Summits that include tried and tested bootcamps and investor forums.
