Future Females, an international community of female entrepreneurs, will next month launch 5 Days to Start, a free five-day challenge that the organisation hopes will support 2000 women to turn their ideas into a real business.
In a statement on Tuesday (22 January), Future Females co-founder Lauren Dallas (pictured above), said the challenge — which will run between 4 and 8 February — is aimed at helping female entrepreneurs to overcome “internal mindset hurdles” and take action to launch their businesses with the support of the Future Females team and global community.

The challenge follows a global survey by Future Females and another community of global entrepreneurs, Startup Grind, of over 20 000 female entrepreneurs carried out last year, which found that 51% of respondents listed “mindset” and “confidence” as the main challenge holding them back from business success.
Future Females’ 5 Days to Start challenge will take place between 4 and 8 February
The challenge will take place online, with a video tutorial released each day, accompanied by a workbook for members to put their new knowledge to use and finally get started on bringing their ideas to life.
Members will also have access to a private Facebook Group, where they can share their progress and keep up to date with what the other members are doing.
Here’s what you’ll learn
Day 1 – Mindset shift: Get your head in the game, break through your self-limitations and unlock your full entrepreneurial potential.
Day 2 – Define your idea: Get your idea out of your head and down on paper, and refine this until you’ve identified the most productive and profitable product to start with.
Day 3 – Brand definition: Build an enviable and memorable brand that will draw the right customers, staff and media to your business.
Day 4 – Find your niche: Find your tribe online, these are the exact people who will buy what you’re selling, and become loyal advocates of your business.
Day 5 – Your elevator pitch: If you can’t sell, well, then you can’t sell. Get your one-minute pitch down, so you can confidently start communicating.
