African innovators behind startups that provide digital services to agricultural sector have until 24 May to enter Pitch AgriHack 2019 — where winners will be awarded up to €15 000 in funding from the competition’s organisers.
The competition is an initiative of the Dutch based and EU-funded Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Co-operation (CTA), in partnership with the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (Agra), the OCP Group, GreenTec Capital Africa Foundation, GreenTec Capital Africa,World Bank, and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).

Winners of Pitch AgriHack 2019 will receive up to €15 000 in funding
In addition to grand funding of up to €15 000, CTA and its partners will also provide winners with additional benefits that include promotion, capacity building, business matchmaking and access to investment.
Pitch AgriHack aims to support the growth of business services offered by agritech startups as well as contribute to accelerate the adoption of innovations that bring about stronger productivity within the agrifood sector.
To be considered for the competition, applicants must be aged between 18 and 35 years old, and must be co-founders or founders of startups that offer digital services to the agricultural sector.
Pitch AgriHack 2019 finals will be held in September in Accra, Ghana.
