Chilean business accelerator Start-Up Chile has called on early-stage tech startups from around the world that are led by female founders to apply for its four month long pre-acceleration programme, The S Factory.

The programme aims to help female entrepreneurs turn their ideas into viable businesses.

Prospective applicants must also have a clear expansion strategy and a real interest in working in Chile.

S Factory participants are set to benefit from mentoring workshops and connections with global and corporate networks.

In addition, those selected for the programme will get to interact with entrepreneurs from more than 85 countries.

The accelerator aims to attract foreign, high-potential entrepreneurs to come to Chile to bootstrap their businesses with the end goal of converting Chile into the innovation and entrepreneurial hub of Latin America.
