Africa Moves announces names of 100 startups selected for Tunis summit

Africa Moves has announced the 100 African startups selected to attend The Big Summit which will take place between 17 and 21 June in Tunis, Tunisia.

The five-day event will bring together startups, investors, innovation experts, as well as tech enthusiasts from across the continent and the world with the aim of getting them to exchange ideas and build connections with one another.

The Big Summit will feature a three-day forum that will include roundtable discussions and keynote speeches that will tackle challenges faced by African countries, a tech and innovation exhibition that will span three days, as well as a hackathon and startup challenges.

Africa Moves’ The Big Summit will take place between 17 and 21 June in Tunis

In a statement last week, Africa Moves said the 100 were carefully selected by from a pool of over 1000 applications by a jury of over 24 entrepreneurs, business consultants, investors and startup community leaders from around the world.

Africa Moves said the 100 startups will each get a free exhibition stand, an opportunity to pitch to investors, as well as flights, accommodation and catering.
