In Johannesburg this week, join serial entrepreneur Warrick Kernes as he outlines the steps you need to take to set up an online store.

Elsewhere on the continent, an event hosted by the Mauritius Africa Fintech Hub, crowdfunding platforms Fundkiss and Olive Crowd, and the Africa Crowdfunding Association aims to increase awareness about crowdfunding platforms.

Second annual Internet Summit 

Imbizo Events hosts the Second Annual Internet Summit, an annual multi-stakeholder ICT conference gathering the ICT business and technical community together to discuss challenges that the sector faces.

The summit will look at issues such as mutual support for strengthening infrastructure throughout the region, create awareness on cybersecurity and will also see the unveiling of corporate internet migration.

Building a Blockchain Startup: The Custos Story

African Crowdfunding Platform Event

In Mauritius, crowdfunding will soon become a new licensable activity, as announced in the recent National Budget.

The event — hosted by the Mauritius Africa Fintech Hub, crowdfunding platforms Fundkiss and Olive Crowd, and the Africa Crowdfunding Association — aims to increase awareness about crowdfunding platforms
